Tyonek Solutions is a superior provider of aviation services to the US Government. We provide full spectrum aircraft and support system maintenance to the US Navy and the US Air Force.

We provide a comprehensive engine, structural, flight control system and fuel cell repair capability on military aircraft and all related components, as well as complete overhaul, testing and repair capabilities on all sub-assemblies and complete disassembly/assembly on a variety of Navy and Air Force aircraft engines including the TF-34, F404, T-56 and the F414.

Work in support of the US Navy is performed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, Naval Station Mayport, Florida, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia and Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.

US Air Force Aviation Services

Tyonek is responsible for providing skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to include Aircraft Mechanics, Jet Engine Mechanics, Structural Engineers, Egress Technicians (ejector seats), Munitions Technicians, Avionics Technicians, Hydraulics and Pnuedraulics Technicians, Electronics Technicians, Aircraft Painters, and Aircraft Preservation Specialists.

The tasks we perform under this contract include performing Service Life Extension Program enhancements to the wing of the A-10 Thunderbolt II, receiving all aircraft from DoD services and demilitarizing them, and preparing aircraft for long term storage in the Arizona Desert.

Our demilitarization tasks include:

  • •• Removing all avionics and attack systems
  • •• Removing guns and missile mounts
  • •• Removing gun feeding systems
  • •• Removing attack radar and electronic defense systems.

We also support the foreign military sales program in that we remove various components off of military aircraft, test the component, then forward it for shipping to the foreign air force that is actively flying the particular aircraft.
